Meet Tracey Hairston of Mocha Girl Place
Tracey is an interior/plant stylist who currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys creating eclectic bohemian spaces in her home. She has a love for plants and unique vintage finds. Tracey loves to show others how to create fabulous spaces on a budget by using cool and unique thrift finds. Her mother has been her biggest design influence as she grew up in a home of warm colors and natural elements.
Tracey updated her bedroom for the Fall 2020 One Room Challenge. "When deciding on how I wanted this room to look, I was first drawn to color. I wanted warm but colorful hues and prints in this space. I wanted it to feel like an oasis. When I came across Crystorama’s beautiful Golden Luxo ceiling mount, I knew it was the perfect fit for this space," says Tracey.
How do you describe your design style?
I consider my style/brand to be Eclectic “Mohemian”. I love the unique vintage pieces, yet drawn to a modern bohemian vibe.
What were your must-haves for this room?
Statement pieces and color!

Why did you select the Crystorama Luxo ceiling mount?
First off, the color. I was also drawn to the trim and it complimented my ceiling color perfectly.
