A Bold Home Office Reveal
Meet Seana Freeman
Seana lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. She’s a leadership development executive by day and a creative by night. She has a passion for interiors and design that was birthed when she bought her first home.
Seana updated her home office for the Fall 2020 One Room Challenge. "I've been working from home for over a year, and although there are aspects I had completed years ago, I hadn't yet finished the details of my office. The most significant missing piece was my lighting," says Seana.
How do you describe your design style?
My style is eclectic, yet elegant. I call it "glamohemian" since bold glamour and bohemian style are its two most significant elements.
What were your must-haves for this room?
My office is the smallest room in the house and the first place I dared to experiment with bold paint color. Other essentials included an attractive yet functional desk, storage, seating, and lighting, of course!

Find a part of your home to go BOLD in.
Be unapologetically yourself! My office is the boldest room in my home, and it makes me happy to walk into. It inspires my creativity. Most people do not want a bright magenta office, and that is fine. Do what feels right for you.
Focus on incorporating elements of your experience, identity, and passions.
What puts a smile on your face? Make sure to incorporate those things in your home. Continue to tinker and adjust to refine your vision as needed.

Why did you select the Crystorama Broche for the office?
I love this light fixture! I think the design is classic and edgy at the same time. The room needed a statement light, but one sophisticated enough to not take it over the top. It perfectly illuminates the room from a functionality standpoint, and the design diffuses the light so beautifully.
